The Njoro Industrial Park and Naivasha SEZ: Driving Economic Independence and Mass Employment in Nakuru

True leadership is about creating an environment where businesses thrive and youth find sustainable, high-quality jobs. Our administration is shifting Nakuru County from a consumer economy to a manufacturing powerhouse. We are proud to announce that the County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP) in Njoro is progressing rapidly with a Sh173.1 million footprint .
Simultaneously, the Naivasha Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is fully operational with 13 companies actively on-site and another 19 awaiting licensing. These industrial hubs—combined with our partnership to construct 23 new Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) markets for small-scale traders—are creating thousands of direct jobs for our youth. We are expanding Nakuru's fiscal space, raising our own-source revenue by 11%, and putting money directly into the pockets of our residents. The industrialization of Nakuru is here
